I've found other Westinghouse Studio One shows here, but am wondering if their 1952 production titled "The Kill" is also in PD.

Also, Blade Runner had asked a while ago if "Guns, Girls, and Gangsters" (1959) starring Mamie Van Doren and Lee Van Cleef was in PD. Just curious if this is or is not PD, or maybe I just missed a response.

I hope this P.D. I missed this pne (except for the last few minutes) on TCM when they were airing Grace Kelly's films and such a few months ago on TCM.

CBS did register The Kill in 1997
The kill.
Type of Work: Motion Picture
Registration Number / Date: PAu002424266 / 1997-12-22
Title: The kill.
Description: Videocassette ; 1/2 in.
Series: Studio One
Copyright Claimant: CBS, Inc.
Date of Creation: 1952
Authorship on Application: Columbia Broadcasting System, Inc., employer for hire.

Columbia Broadcasting System, Inc.

The original registration for Guns, Girls and Gangsters was:
Pictures. Released by United Artists Corp.
70 min., sd., b&w, 35mm. Imperial Pictures,
Inc.; 22Jan59 (in notice- 1958)-

They needed to renew this by the end of 1986. Docs on the movie go back to 1982 on USCO but there is no renewal present. There's no separate copyright on the story or music so this one is PD.

Thanks for the information. Bummer about "The Kill" but maybe in a while I can upload Guns, Girls and Gangsters
